We keep this simple. This page explains what we do with the information you send us through this website, why we do it, and what your rights are.

Who we are

This website is run by HISM Global (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us at info@hismglobal.co.uk.

This notice covers this website and our free audit form. If your church uses our systems, for example the automated messages to members, we handle the information in those systems on your church’s behalf. That is covered by a separate agreement with your church, not by this notice.

What we collect, and why

When you complete the free audit form, we collect:

• your name
• your church’s name
• your email address
• your phone number
• anything you choose to write in the message box

We use this to reply to you, arrange your audit meeting and carry out the audit. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests, which means responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before we enter into a contract.

Please do not put sensitive personal details about yourself or other people in the message box.

Information collected automatically

Our web host keeps standard technical records of visits, such as IP address, date and time, and the pages requested. This helps keep the website secure and working.

To limit spam, the enquiry form also keeps a scrambled code based on your IP address and your enquiry in the server’s temporary storage. We do not use this to identify you, and we never use it for marketing.

Cookies and other companies

This website does not use cookies, advertising or analytics tools. It does not load fonts, scripts or images from other companies, so your browser only connects to our own website.

If that ever changes, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing without your agreement. It is handled for us by our website host and email provider, who act on our instructions. Our website is hosted by Namecheap, and your enquiry is emailed to our business mailbox. We may also share information where the law requires us to.

Some providers may handle information outside the UK. Where they do, we expect them to protect it with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

• If we do not go on to work together, we delete your enquiry details within 12 months.
• If we do work together, we keep your details for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards, for accounting and legal reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• ask us to delete your information
• ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
• ask for your information in a portable format, where that applies

To use any of these rights, email info@hismglobal.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are in Nigeria, you may also have rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and you can contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.

If you are unhappy

Please tell us first so we can put things right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
